Öhman new main owner in Lannebo Fonder

When Öhman becomes the new main owner of Lannebo Fonder, the result will be the Nordic region's largest independent fund manager and an even more powerful offering to customers. Lannebo Fonder and Öhman Fonder are two of Sweden’s most successful fund management companies. Active asset management is at the core of both companies’ operations. Lannebo Fonder and Öhman Fonder have also on several occasions each been appointed fund company of the year.

Through the deal, the Öhman Group becomes the main owner of Lannebo Fonder.

Lannebo Fonder and Öhman Fonder are both characterized by an entrepreneurial culture and a closeness to their customers. Other common grounds connecting the companies are their strong focus on sustainability, as well as both companies’ practice of active ownership management.

Today, both Lannebo Fonder and Öhman Fonder have a customer base consisting of institutional as well as private clients. The deal enables greater resources to further develop the customer offer, both for direct customers and for customers which are reached through distributors.

Johan Lannebo is proposed to become a board member in the company.

Together, Öhman Fonder and Lannebo Fonder manage over SEK 215 billion, divided into SEK 140 billion (Öhman Fonder) and SEK 75 billion (Lannebo Fonder) respectively.

Öhman has engaged Gernandt & Danielsson as legal advisor and E&Y as financial advisor. Lannebo Fonder has engaged Lenner & Partners as financial advisor and Wigge & Partners as legal advisor.
