Orienta Capital is a Spanish wealth manager based in Madrid with about 1,2 billion euro under management. The firm recently launched a new fund of funds called Acurio European Managers. To put together the final portfolio Orienta Capital analysed and visited more than 60 independent asset management boutiques in Europe for a year and a half, according to Citywire

Lannebo Småbolag (Small Cap) was chosen as one of six strategies for the model portfolio. Lannebo Småbolag is managed by Johan Ståhl and has an AA-rating from Citywire.

“This is a step forward in our ambition to achieve an increased international footprint. We’re pleased to see that our strong performance is being recognised abroad and look forward to a long-standing cooperation with Orienta Capital”, says Erik Gebro, international sales manager at Lannebo.

The criteria used by Orienta to select managers included concentrated, low-turnover portfolios, outstanding track-record with many managers running strategies before the financial crises, reasonable size and capacity constraints and finally robust operations and compliance.
