Overview

Lannebo NanoCap is an actively managed equity fund that invests in small companies in the Nordic region with an emphasis on Sweden. The companies in which the fund invests may have a market capitalization that amounts to a maximum of 0.05 percent of the Swedish stock market’s total market capitalization at the time of investment. The fund is a special fund and has freer investment rules than a traditional equity fund, which gives the manager greater opportunities. This means, among other things, that the fund may concentrate its holdings in a smaller number of companies than is the case for a regular equity fund.

The fund is aimed at professional investors. The fund is open for deposits until it reaches a fund value of SEK 2 billion.

In addition to a fixed fee, Lannebo NanoCap has a variable fee that is calculated individually and is only paid if the fund’s value development exceeds the development of the fund’s return threshold. The return threshold is 30 days STIBOR plus 5 percentage points.

The fund’s responsible investment strategies are:

  • integrating environmental, social and governance factors into our investment processes, including both sustainability risks and principal adverse impacts, a concept commonly referred to as “double materiality”.
  • acting as a responsible owner, engage with our investee companies to ensure their alignment with our expectations regarding sustainable business practices and adherence to international norms.
  • excluding companies that are engaged in sectors and activities that we deem to cause significant adverse effects on society, where an investment would be associated with substantial negative environmental or social consequences or associated with an undesirable sustainability risk.
